Lee`s Famous Recipe Chicken in Bardstown

Delicious roasted chicken corn on cobb and biscuits. The mashed potatoes with gravy was okay and the sweet tea is good but has too much sugar in it

I love there chicken

Didn't have the food I wanted ready. Had already ordered and was told later I had to order something different. Charged me more money. Definitely a bad visit..

The food was just okay. It was hot and served quickly but just really didn't have a taste. I ordered an original fried breast meal with mashed potatoes. The chicken tasted unsalted or unseasoned and very stringy. The potatoes were great.

That fish was good

They have chicken livers where other chicken places do not. Usually get them every visit to Bardstown.

The management made sure that they staffed Sufficient Capable people And my food was ready in seconds. Everything was done right for my chicken dinner. The only problem I encountered was the Diet Pepsi ran out, but they fixed it

Today for lunch my wedges had a huge piece of blonde hair fried into them. Very grossed out and I want my money back. This was disturbing to bite into a piece of deep fried hair.

Place was shoulder to shoulder packed, yet the staff were quickly taking orders and passing back food. Best fried chicken place in the USA.

Good food fast. Great seating options. Bathrooms are not handicap accessible, but are clean. Parking is limited at best.

This was the worst food I have eaten at this location (8/25/18). I drive in from out of town to take my mother shopping once a month. We always look forward to eating here because the food is usually so flavorable. We have gone during lunchtime previously, but this was the first time we ate during dinner hours and we will not do that again. My chicken pieces were tiny and had thick, old tasting breading. Both of our mashed potato sides had a trace amount of gravy. So disappointed. I really hope this was just a one-time bad experience and we will have great food again during our trip next month.

Always done right. No matter the taste it has to be done. Other places are not. Good service. Fair price. Nice breading. Mild seasonings. Their corn on the cob is always good. Eat at Lee's often. That probably says the most. I keep going back. Love it.

My organization uses this place on a regular basis for catering our local events and they are always fantastic. The Chicken strips are always great, and they have a huge variety of sauces you can offer people. While they excel at Chicken they don't do that great with their sides. Their potato-wedges are amazing - those aren't offered for catering orders though.

Good place to get work done on your cars and trucks but still got to watch them that's in Lagrange Kentucky

Visiting Bardstown and found this place for dinner. Fast and friendly service on a Saturday night. Family meal was excellent!! A ton of great tasting food at a very good price. Wish we had this chain in Georgia!!

Love Lee's Chicken because it's delicious, convenient and not real expensive. Don't eat it as often as I'd like because it has a lot of calories. Food is good for a treat now and then. They do have baked chicken, but that would be a matter of discipline for me. Try it though, Lee's is better than KFC!!

Found a hair cook into a piece of food half of it sticking out. I know we all have hair but I can’t and won’t be back

It's either the best or the worst.. always good service, but chicken is very inconsistent. Especially livers and gizzards.. you can go at lunch and get the best you've ever eaten and go back for dinner and get the worst.

Good things: 1.fast service 2. decent chicken dippers that was hot. Complaints: 1. staff seemed inconvenienced that I needed dipping sauces for my chicken. 2. Mashed potatoes and gravy had the texture and taste of playdough and pepper. Not kidding. Imagine it. All the gravy had soaked into the potatoes so it was really just potatoes 3. Macaroni & cheese was baked to the cup where it has apparently been prepared for hours and had absolutely no flavor at all. It was like eating raw cooked pasta.

Bought a chicken pot pie today with no chicken in it ... 0, nicht, nada. Looks like they could have managed a small piece or two. Usually I do find some chicken.

If your going to be closed for holiday party why dont you post it in the drive thru. Just saying

Stopped in due to I’m on the road for business and needed a quick bite! Not one person behind the counter from the manager on down had a mask on! Why not? Does this franchise not know about the current pandemic! I bought my meal but then decided to throw it out after leaving! I have my receipt if Lees needs proof I was there! What a disgrace to your customers!

as an employee I can say that depending on who is serving you affects the quality of your service. sometimes we make mistakes, but we're humans. so usually we try to compromise to the best of our ability when we mess up. as for masks, they're not required to be worn by the CDC. so chill.

This Lee's was the only fried chicken for 17 miles but it was awful good-the biscuits were better than KFC just don't tell the colonel
